GSLAA Art Mediums

 

The GSLAA monthly meetings are on the fourth Thursday of the month starting at 7:00. Come at 6:30 to visit with our Members.

 GSLAA Meeting Map

It's on the southwest corner of Kirkwood Road and Woodbine,directly across from The Magic House.  However, what you see at that intersection is the old part of the building with no access.  The main parking lot and entrance is located behind the building opposite of Kirkwood Rd.  Special spaces are available for visitors and handicap parking near the Main Entrance. There is an additional handicap parking lot on the Kirkwood road side of the building.

Our September 28th Program

Chasing the Milky Way - Landscape Photography at Night by Lonnie Gatlin

From Death Valley National Park to Glacier National Park to here in Missouri and Illinois, landscape photographer Lonnie Gatlin shares her experiences and lessons learned for photographing the night sky. You will learn about the tools and techniques used to capture these wondrous moments as well as the emotions experienced. There is something for every artist to experience in this presentation about capturing a starry night sky.

John Salozzo will demonstrate how he paints his Ultra Realistic Paintings with brush and airbrush.
